Sunshinenew.jpg (15901 bytes) I am Sunshine and I was born in 1991 in Daintree. People found me as a baby floating in the Daintree River after I lost my mother. They say she was killed by electric power lines while carrying me. In this accident one of my wings was injured that I can’t fly properly. Since I have been in the Bat House I’ve had three babies who have since been released. I know I can be a bit moody, but that’s because I have to be tough to pursue my favourite hobby (to eat and eat and eat) among my companions in the bat cage (Bat House)

I am not moody, I am just plain batty, that's what makes my charm. I am competing with Jasper to be the "most photogenic bat ever" , I  am quite sure that I will be the winner, because I am soooo very pretty (Nell)
