Hi,
my name is Rex. I
lost my mother when I was a baby, so I have been raised by people. She was
probably eaten by a sea eagle or python, and luckily I was found. I love
taking part in human activities (I have even escaped to join volunteers
for dinner once). They have tried releasing me, but I always return to my
mates at the Bat House. My girlfriend is Annie. I am very protective of
her. I don’t like it when they take her to the Bat House for the day and
I can be very vocal about how much I miss her. They don’t take me down
to the Bat House much anymore (maybe it’s because I like flying out of
the door onto visitor’s cars) (Bat House).
I
am also known as Squeaky, as I am very talkative. In fact, I can spend hours
squeaking without break especially when my female human is around. I am
rubbing my neck on her whenever I can, so she carries my scent all the
time even when she is away from me . I know that she loves me as much as I
love her
